Feb 2011 A record collector contacted Eric Knudson after finding a 45 record single in Duluth Georgia.
Research lead the record collector to this website.
500 of these 45's were made in 1985 while Eric was in a band called " Prisoner ". Band consisted of Byron Autrey, Sam Self, Eric and Ernie Compton
(Who currently performs in E.K.G.). There were only 350 of the 500 released to the public. Eric agreed to sell 35 to this collector. 35 that are still brand new,
never played 45 singles. PRISONER, together for just a few years, performed local shows, as well as toured regionally with Black Foot and Pantera.
The songs were recorded in different studios. Side A being with Lew Blackburn at Pla-Back Studios in Oak Cliff Texas. Side B recorded with Grammy winner
Phil York during a student recording session of his recording school.
Considered Rare Texas Heavy Metal by the collector, he posted a 45 on EBAY which sold for a total of $109.50 !!

Invited Guest speaker to teens with Cancer. Being a Cancer survivor myself, this was a real emotional day and a wonderful event. We met in a donated suite in center field, Texas Rangers game, B.J. Thomas sang the National Anthem. I spoke about what life is like after Cancer, how it will change you, and encouraged these kids that they too can survive.
